FSI Spectrum, an integrated interface for all bank modules.

Spectrum is a Windows™ -based program that integrates multiple FSI systems in a single, easy-to-use interface. Building on what is called Base Spectrum, FSI primary products can be activated individually as the needs of the bank grow. Base Spectrum includes FSI On Line (CRT) and Reports (BankView).

Utilizing BankSignature, bank personnel can also maintain a wide variety of electronic images. In addition to signatures, BankSignature supports the storage and viewing of photographs, driver's licenses, and even documents.

  • FSI products and modules available for activation with Spectrum include:
  • BankTeller
  • New accounts with document printing.
  • Imaging (BankSignature).
  • FSI BankNet.
  • BankView.
  • Cmail.
  • Browser-based functions (ISP necessary to use this feature).
  • Features & Benefits
  • Integrated Security. Each user of Spectrum can be assigned access and rights to specific programs and functions with just an individual sign-on and password. The security is housed at FSI and is maintained at the client site by a security administrator. Each user can be assigned as a “floater”, allowing a teller to move from branch to branch without having to establish his security separately at each location.
  • Automated Updates. No more manual copying files from a CD or floppy disk to each file server at a bank’s branches. Each Spectrum update is downloaded via WAN connection to a designated PC at the bank for review and testing. Once the files have been tested and approved, they can be downloaded to other branches via the WAN by a designated user from the bank.
  • Access to Third-Party Programs. Spectrum allows users to access up to nine other programs such as Bond Pro, Microsoft Excel™ and others via a “favorites” menu. This menu is updated and maintained by the bank’s staff.
  • FSI BankNet Banking. All online functions of FSI's online CRT system are available in Spectrum.
  • New Accounts with Document Printing. Here’s a simplified way to set up new account name and address information and print documents. New account documents (associated with the platform system the bank uses) can be printed on a laser or an impact printer, such as the Craden DP series or the Unisys series passbook printers.
  • Teller. BankTeller with enhanced features designed in a Windows™ environment.
  • Browser functions. Using the bank's ISP, the browser feature allows Internet access without exiting Spectrum.
  • Reports. BankView access for downloading and viewing reports without existing Spectrum.
